Summary
The line between traditional finance and onchain infrastructure continues to merge. Circle launched Managed Services to give institutions a fiat-native path to USDC settlement without touching custody or blockchain integration directly. Tokenized stocks neared $1B in onchain value, up over $900M in a year, and Binance listed 10 more Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs. The infrastructure for moving real-world capital onchain is no longer theoretical, it's shipping.
The rest of the stack kept building around it. Morpho launched AI agent support in beta. Lido integrated CoW Protocol for instant stETH liquidity. Sky completed the DAI-to-USDS upgrade across all major exchanges. Yield.xyz tracks 2,900+ yield opportunities across 80+ networks so platforms can power their users to earn everywhere are as the market evolves.
Stablecoin Developments
Circle (USDC): Circle introduced Circle Managed Services this week, designed to remove the technical and operational barriers slowing stablecoin adoption at the institutional level. The launch includes CPN Managed Payments, which lets institutions stay fully fiat-native while accessing global USDC settlement through a single API, without custody, blockchain integration, or new licensing overhead. Current USDC yields include 2.4% APY on Aave Ethereum, 4.5% APY on STEAKUSDC Morpho Base, and 2.5% APY on Kamino Lend.
Tether (USDT): USDT remains the largest stablecoin by total value locked. Maple is currently one of the most popular venues for USDT yield with over $1.9B in deposits earning 3.65% APY, while USDT on Aave Ethereum earns 2.2% and leading Morpho Vaults range between 2.5% and 4% APY.
Sky Money (USDS): Sky announced the upgrade from DAI to USDS is now complete across all major exchanges. Savings USDS (sUSDS) currently earns 3.75% APY with $7B in TVL, while staked USDS (stUSDS) earns 5.2% APY with around $200M in deposits.
Ethena (USDe): Ethena put forward a proposal to diversify the collateral backing USDe reserves, with four additions under consideration by the risk committee: overcollateralized institutional lending, high quality liquid RWAs beyond T-bills, equity and commodity basis exposure, and prime lending. The proposal is aimed at reducing concentration and building resilience across market cycles.
Maple Finance (syrupUSDC / syrupUSDT): Maple recorded over $440M in net new deposits last month, with both syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT hitting new supply all-time highs. syrupUSDC currently earns 4.2% APY with over $3.6B in deposits, while syrupUSDT earns 3.65% APY with $1.9B in deposits.
Protocol Developments
Aave: Chaos Labs, Aave's primary risk manager since 2022, announced it is exiting the protocol citing a fundamental misalignment over how risk should be managed as V4 expands scope. The firm had been operating the engagement at a loss for three years and said even a proposed $5M budget wouldn't close the gap. LlamaRisk remains as the protocol's active risk provider.
Morpho: Morpho launched Morpho Agents in beta this week, allowing users to check positions, simulate transactions, and construct deposit transactions on Morpho Vaults and Markets directly through any AI agent. Morpho TVL stands at $7.5B, with most activity concentrated on Ethereum, Base, Katana, and HyperLiquid.
Lido: Fast swaps on Lido now route via CoW Protocol, turning unstaking into instant liquidity across ETH, WETH, USDC, USDT, USDS, and WBTC with no withdrawal queue and protected execution built directly into the interface. stETH currently yields 2.4% APY with $21B in TVL.
Upshift: Upshift's earnAUSD continues to offer one of the stronger stablecoin yield opportunities on Monad, with over $36M in deposits currently earning 7.9% APY. Upshift's hgETH product on Ethereum is also worth watching, currently earning 6.1% APY.
Ondo Finance: Tokenized stocks are approaching $1B in onchain value, up over $900M since this time last year. Binance listed 10 additional Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs this week. Ondo also announced that its tokenized assets will soon be deployable as collateral on Ondo Perps, its perpetual futures trading venue.
Build With Yield.xyz
The theme this week is access: Circle making USDC settlement reachable without blockchain overhead, Ondo putting stocks onchain, Morpho opening its vaults to AI agents. Each development expands the surface area for yield without necessarily making it easier to track.
That's the problem Yield.xyz is built to solve. With thousands of yield opportunities across 80+ networks, Yield.xyz gives developers and allocators a single integration point to access, compare, and act on the best opportunities across the stack — whether that's a Morpho Vault on Base, syrup yields on Ethereum, or whatever comes next.
